Tatuanui School

Rooms 2 and 3 from Tatuanui School joined together to make huts. We used a paper frame as these were to go inside on the classroom wall. We made one for each room and the library. We smeared mud all over the paper and made a brick pattern with twigs which fell off as it dried. Hay was used for our roof. We decided it would be hard messy work making a hut to live in.

Yesterday we joined together again and made Rwandan people. We had to make sure they all had curly hair and dark skin. We tried to put a banana tree in each picture. The children are looking forward to their meal day on Wednesday.
